After the activity, Member for Hull and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of International Relations, Maryse Gaudreault, spoke on behalf of Minister of International Relations Monique Gagnon-Tremblay and Minister of Culture, Communications and the Status of Women, Christine St-Pierre. “Our creative partnership with the British Council in particular has helped bring our two societies even closer together in the cultural, educational and scientific spheres,” said the Member for Hull.
The Consul General of Great Britain in Montréal, Patrick Holdich, and the Vice President of CEAD, Sébastien Harrisson, also addressed the participants.
The Joint Declaration between Québec and the British Council has contributed to the completion of dozens of projects in the fields of education, culture, science and technology.
