Claude Trudelle appointed Director of Québec Government Office in Berlin

The Deputy Minister of International Relations, La Francophonie and External Trade, Michel Audet, is pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Trudelle as Director of the Québec Government Office in Berlin effective summer 2013.

Mr. Trudelle holds a Master’s Degree in international relations and boasts nearly 15 years of professional experience at the Department where he has held a number of positions. He has been Assistant Director, Analyses, since 2010. Prior to that, he was Chief of the Political Analysis and Security Issues Branch.

He served as Director of the Québec Government Office in Berlin from 2006 to 2008, and as Public Affairs and Cooperation Adviser there from 2001 to 2006.

Québec government offices in Germany

The Québec Government Office in Berlin provides support to the Québec Government Office in Munich. The two offices cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland and promote Québec and its influence in the institutional, economic and cultural sectors. Québec has maintained an official presence in Germany since 1971.
