Québec-Maharashtra cooperation: Call for projects

The Ministère des Relations internationales, de la Francophonie et du Commerce extérieur (MRIFCE) has issued a third call for projects aimed at continuing the cooperation launched in 2009 with the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Over the past five years the MRIFCE has supported projects deployed by Maharashtrian and Québec partners in fields as wide-ranging as research and innovation, the environment, sharing of health expertise, literature and art.

The projects have enabled a number of Québec institutions to export their knowledge and creativity and have paved the way to mutually beneficial collaboration between Québec and Maharashtra.

The latest call for projects is aimed at encouraging more of this type of cooperation.

Five or six projects chosen by an internal MRIFCE committee will receive financial support from the MRIFCE.

To find out more about the terms and conditions for project support, see the call for projects sheet (available in French).

If you are interested in undertaking a cooperation project with partners in Maharashtra, we invite you to submit your proposal by April 8, 2014.
