The delegation paid a visit to partners and projects backed by the Ministère des Relations internationales, including the construction site of the future offices of the Francophonie institute for marketing in the Caribbean (Institut de la Francophonie pour la gestion dans la Caraïbe). Meetings were also held with CECI (Centre for International Studies and Cooperation) and Oxfam-Québec – international cooperation agencies which garnered support from the MRI during emergency response operations in September, 2008. The Eben-Ezer School was visited with representatives from the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation to take a look at the One laptop per child pilot project which received MRI funding.
