    Great Lakes Commission: a regional partnership for sustainable development

    Québec participated in the annual meeting of the Great Lakes Commission in Cleveland, Ohio, September 10 and 11, 2012. This regional forum, which brings together eight American states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York) as well as Québec and Ontario, focuses on shared issues of concern such as water resources management, the environment, aquatic nuisance species, maritime transportation and the regional economy.

    Québec’s team wins 12 medals at the 2013 Games of La Francophonie

    By the end of the 7th Games of La Francophonie held in Nice, France from September 7 to 15, the athletes and artists on Québec’s team had won a total of 12 medals in six sporting and artistic events, which is four more than Québec’s team won in the previous games in Beirut, Lebanon in 2009.

    Productive exchanges in Ivory Coast
