At the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Premier Pauline Marois announced that the world’s number-one producer of silicon metal, Spanish company Grupo FerroAtlántica, plans to build a new plant in Québec. The $375 million project will create over 300 jobs.
