    Québec Mines 2012 – Québec mining sector’s expertise generates interest among international delegates

    The Québec Mines Convention, held at the Québec City Convention Centre from November 26 to 29, 2012, attracted nearly 6,000 participants. Organizers were pleased by the event’s resounding success. The convention, whose theme was “Of Mines and Men: A theme that focuses on the human aspect,” was organized by the Ministère des Ressources naturelles in collaboration with several partners in the mining field.

    Young university graduates to create the Jardin du Québec in China for 2014

    Two young graduates from Université de Montréal (UdeM), Catherine Blain and Valéry Simard, both with Bachelor’s degrees in landscape architecture, won the call for proposals issued by the UNESCO Chair on Landscape and Environment at Université de Montréal (CUPEUM) in collaboration with the Ministère des Relations internationales, de la Francophonie et du Commerce extérieur (MRIFCE) and the Québec Government Office in Beijing.

    Québec - France: A direct and privileged relationship based on innovation and creativity

    The Premier of Québec carried out her first mission to France at the invitation of President François Hollande to establish contact with French political authorities.     Québec participates in UNESCO conference on digital heritage
