    Greying of the population: France interested in Québec approach

    Michèle Delaunay, French Junior Minister for the Elderly and Dependant Care, was in Québec on a fact-finding visit from November 28 to 30. The purpose of her trip was to explore good practices in the area of seniors’ autonomy and consider ways to adapt to an ageing population.

    Mission to China: Deputy Premier looking to expand economic ties

    Deputy Premier and Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food François Gendron will be heading an economic mission to China from November 12 to 16. Mr. Gendron will provide support to some thirty Québec companies that will be travelling to Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Shanghai to participate in activities in the aerospace, cosmetics and agri-food sectors.
