The Premier of Québec undertaking a mission to London and Davos

Québec City, January 7, 2014 - Québec Premier Pauline Marois will undertake a mission to London and Davos from January 20 to 24.

The Premier will go first to London on January 20 to take part in activities of an economic nature. She will then participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from January 22 to 24. The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business is the thematic focus of the 44th annual meeting. Québec has participated for over 25 years in this event that brings together numerous heads of state and government as well as international business leaders.

Journalists who wish to cover the mission to Davos are advised to take note of the following:

  • Media representatives who are not yet accredited with the World Economic Forum will not have access to the official event site, including the official press centre.
  • Accredited media representatives will not have access to the workshops, which are reserved for members of the World Economic Forum.
  • Media representatives will have access to public events involving the Premier.
